Vital Energi
District Heating
The Sleaford District Heating Scheme would involve excavation and reinstatement of approximately 2.5 kilometres of trench allowing for installation of new District Heating pipework.
Constructing a new Renewable Energy Centre in the Sleaford countryside would be the first phase of the works.
We would then excavate the trenches for the District Heating Pipework including the welding and jointing (band muffed).
The trenches were reinstated to the highways specification.
This process would continue throughout the project. From this first phase, the trench would continue along the Boston Road. We would undertake this under strict Traffic Management Plans.
Accordingly, various phases would feed local facilities. This would include Sleaford Town F.C, Sleaford Indoor Bowling Club and Sleaford Leisure Centre. Also, William Alvey School and the region’s Council Offices.
Due to the complex nature of the works, these phases would require thorough and detailed planning. This would need to involve local residents, business owners, Highways and facility representatives.
We would complete each phase under a strict programme aiming to minimise any disruption to the local residents. This approach would result in many glowing reports to Client representatives throughout.
